It's actually taken a lot of time out of the equation which is always a plus!Īnother thing I love is that I haven't had to modify or change anything. This has been especially helpful when I'm setting up to go. The box seems to be lower and the back window is bigger on the Silverado where you can see the hitch perfectly. It was a nice little surprise that my F150 didn't offer. I can see the hitch plane as day when I go to line it up. One little thing that surprised me was when I went to back in to hitch up my 5th wheel. The temps stay low on the mechanicals, the cooled seats are so nice during the hot summer months, and the truck is very comfortable. I'm also impressed with how the truck handles towing going through the hilly and windy terrain of ND. I'm not saying it doesn't go, once you get into the sweet spot at the higher rpm's she like to go!

I do wish it had a little more getup and go when towing, however, I'm not drag racing and the diesel undoubtedly would be fulfill what I feel I'm lacking. The truck works hard, it goes easy down the road, and it's been a joy to tow with it. I went from a 1/2 ton to the 1 ton and the difference is night and day. This truck handles the 5th wheel with ease. Fully loaded I'm pushing about 10,000 pounds. I bought it as my old truck couldn't pull my 5th wheel. I've had it since it was new, I broke it in following the instructions in the owners manual and I've been very happy with it. My 2019 Silverado 3500 HD with the Gas 6.0 has been a great truck so far.
