Cheating is about taking away the control of others, vote-kicking allows players to fight back, and it is easily what cheaters hate most. Votekicking was an early solution to the cheating problem. As long as there is such high demand for cheats, there will always be cheats. It requires a lot of time and effort to create and no time to bypass. Truth is, making anti-cheat is an unwinnable fight.
